Yummy and affordable. Nice servers, it's a cute little hole in the wall. Way better than coots.

We came in late for dinner. Savannah greeted us with a smile. She was very attentive and answered all of our questions. The restaurant does not serve water from the tap. You must buy bottled water. The wings, burgers, and salads were very tasty. The restaurant is more of a bar so it is a bit divey but overall we had a good meal.

Great service with great food to back it up. if you are looking for polished silver and fine china this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a welcoming local bar with delicious seafood this is the place for you. Highly recommend Whaley's.

We love eating at Whaleys when we visit Edisto. They are so friendly, the food is fabulous. We haven't had anything here we don't like. They cook it per request. The atmosphere is fun. The wait can be long but so worth it. My favorite there is the mahi-mahi and steamed vegetables with grits! There raw chips are great! Our server ever time is always so nice and smiling .

Absolutely perfect. Good service, fair pricing and delicious seafood. Whaleys is a top notch Edisto establishment and has been for years. We always look forward to drinks and meals at Whaleys.

Great wings w lemon pepper rub. Fries were crunchy and celery fresh. Overall interesting local bar. Would have loved to see the Steelers and service was meh.

They had a rough start this morning. The young lady who served us was awesome! She was very friendly and smiled the whole time. Lasted start wasn't too bad. They did get us out of the heat to open up shop. The kitchen and bar weren't ready for customers, but the servers up front did what they could do to keep us updated. Was food with the wait? Definitely! We got Caesar's salad, smashburger, and prime rib sandwiches. By the time we left in 1.5 hrs, we were fed and had a great meal. Side note we were looking at the photos on the wall that made Danny and his mother start tearing up because there was a tribute to Dan Newton on the wall. Danny's daddy. It was a wonderful experience.

Food: 3/5 Ambiance: 5:5 Service 4/5 Nice little spot here to have some fresh seafood. A little on the pricey side for what you get, but most places are these days. The food was good. It tastes like anywhere else on the coast with good seafood, but what I really liked were the steamed oysters! They had a good flavor to them with some kind of spices. It was delicious! My son and J agreed they were probably the most memorable steamed oysters we have had in a long time. He also liked his cheeseburger. All the ingredients came together nicely and the burger patty was grilled perfectly. My youngest loved his popcorn shrimp! There was a long wait when we arrived but we didn't mind. We sat outside in the beautiful sunshine waiting for our table and before we knew it, it was time to be seated. Loved the beachy atmosphere here! The service was good too.
